Website Design By George July 1, 2010   What IS a Giclée?    The word Giclée comes from the French word, 'le gicleur’, which means nozzle.  The Giclée process is a very sophisticated style of printing from a digital source, using sprayed ink, and capable of producing thousands of colors.  The Giclée is made from extra fine, high resolution, photographic images of fine art paintings.  The high resolution process retains every detail from the original, with deeply saturated colors - a result of the newest ink technology from Epson. The inks, canvases and papers are of archival quality. Each piece is individually produced which helps the artist with large up front costs, and storage.  The result is a personal, hands-on, beautifully finished product.
